The influence of Islamic Work Ethic on employees’ responses to change in Kuwaiti Islamic banks

Significant attention has been paid recently to Islamic Work Ethic (IWE) particularly in organizational change literature. However, the nature of relationship remains ambiguous. Research studies attempting uncover IWE’s influence on characteristics employees’ responses are still its infancy. To tackle this gap, study contributes knowledge by developing a possible conceptual model identifying towards shape their commitment and deviance. The testing these relationships took place ever-developing Kuwaiti banking sector. Data was collected from 398 employees distributing self-administered questionnaires. Outcomes revealed that extent employee varied across different components. This result offers unique understanding into affiliation with attitudes change, especially Moreover, IWE found negatively engagement As such, finding not established within context previously. Due such findings, several implications future research directions emerge.
